Islam and Salvation

Hello,

I have become interested in Islam, whose precepts initially seemed interesting to me. I came across several elements that prompt reflection and suggest that many things in the Quran and Hadiths call into question the authenticity of Islam as coming from God and its ability to lead to salvation.
I present here some of these elements to any Muslim to encourage reflection and, if possible, to provide answers to these concerns.
To facilitate research and verification, I begin with the following resources:

I – Arguments suggesting that according to the holy books of Islam, Muslims CANNOT be saved and Islam may not be an authentic religion of God

1) Mohammed himself acknowledges that Islam does not guarantee Salvation to anyone and promises hell to all Muslims

It is on the Day of Judgment that everyone will know, after passing through hell, for the Quran says that every man will pass through hell (Sura 19:71-72). Mohammed himself does not know if he will be saved, nor do those who follow him (Sura 46:9; Sahih Al Bukhari 6467).
He confirms having no power to put someone on the right path, unlike Jesus who gives us the power to become children of God and to walk in righteousness and holiness. Here are the corresponding texts:

  • Quran 19:71-72 – “And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees.”
  • Quran 46:9 – “Say, ‘I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner.'”
  • Quran 72:21 – “Say, ‘Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction.'”
  • Quran 3:128 – “Not for you, [O Muhammad, but for Allah, is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.”
  • Sahih Bukhari 6467 – “The Prophet said, ‘Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and rejoice, for no one’s good deeds will bring him to Paradise.’ They asked, ‘Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said, ‘Not even me, unless Allah bestows His mercy on me.'”

If Mohammed himself is not sure of his salvation, how can he guarantee that of another?

2) Considering his death, Mohammed would actually be a false prophet according to himself, the Quran, and the Hadith

See the details in the following link: https://telegra.ph/Mort-Mohamed-12-09

3) According to his own statements, Mohammed is not a prophet in the usual sense found among the Jewish people before him

A prophet was normally someone who received the word of God to transmit to people. Mohammed claims to have received the word from an angel and not from God.
How did he prove that it was truly an angel speaking to him? That this angel was truly sent by God? What proof did he provide for this when it is known that fallen angels could reveal knowledge to humans?

4) Considering the facts of his life, which we provide a link for more details and more facts, Mohammed would not have the behavior of a prophet

In the Bible, the great prophets were generally people living a life of purity, justice, and sanctification. Mohammed, as described in the Quran and Hadiths, seems far from this.
Read carefully the document in the following link for evidence supporting this assertion. The introduction may shock and seem slanderous. It is necessary to continue reading to better judge: https://v-assets.cdnsw.com/fs/Nouveau_dossier/cchxt-coran_islam.pdf
It is also possible to read directly several elements here:

Allah Denounces Mohammed as a Sinner (Quran 33:56; 40:55; 47:19; 48:2)

Mohammed, presented as an example to follow (Surah 33:21), is reported in the Quran or authentic Hadiths to have committed the following acts, without being exhaustive:

  • Married a 6-year-old child (Aisha) (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Hadith 88)
  • Had intercourse with this prepubescent child at the age of 9
  • Had adulterous relations with Mariam (Maria) the Copt (the maid of Hafsa) in the house of his wife Hafsa (Surah 66:1-4, Tafsir al-Jalalayn)
  • Married the ex-wife (Zaynab) of his adopted son (Zayd) (Surah 33:37)
  • Raped captives (Surah 4:24)
  • Allowed temporary marriage or Mut’a (pleasure, enjoyment) (Surah 4:24)
  • Owned, sold, and bought black slaves (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 91, Hadith 368)
  • Stoned a Jew and his wife to death (Sahih Muslim, Book 17, Hadith 4216)
  • Cut off the hand of a woman (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book 81, Hadith 792)
  • Cut off the hands and feet of people who had stolen his camels and branded their eyes with heated iron pieces (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 590)
  • Ordered the assassination of a Jewish poet, Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf, who was “inciting the people against Muhammad and composing elegiac poems about those who were put into the common grave at Badr” (Sira Ibn Hisham)
  • Slaughtered between six hundred and nine hundred men of the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza (Sira Ibn Hisham)
  • Ordered the torture of Kinana, the husband of the Jewish woman Safiya, to discover the location of his treasure (Sira Ibn Hisham)
  • Allowed domestic violence (Surah 4:34)
  • Ordered the killing of anyone who leaves Islam (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 9, Book 84, Hadith 57)
  • Encouraged the practice of coitus interruptus on captives (withdrawal of the male sexual organ before the emission of semen to avoid conception) (Sahih Muslim 1438a, Book 8, Hadith 3371)
  • Allowed the breastfeeding of adults (Sahih Muslim, Book 8, Hadith 3425)
  • Taught the art of dissimulation commonly known as taqiyya (Surahs 3:28; 16:106)
  • Kissed a black stone (idolatry at the Kaaba) (Sahih Muslim, Book 7, Hadith 2895)
  • Advised drinking camel urine (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 590)
  • Taught that the punishment for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption on earth is that they should be killed, crucified, have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or be exiled from the land (Surah 5:33)
  • Was possessed by a demon (see the document in the link)
  • Slept with a corpse
  • Had homosexual relations

But here is what Jesus Christ, whom Mohammed claims to believe in the Quran, says:

Matthew 7:15-19

“15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

5. The Quran Contradicts Itself, and Therefore, if It Is True, Then It Is False

The Quran declares that it confirms the Gospels and the Torah:

  • Surah 5:46-47 – “And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.”
  • Surah 5:111 – “And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, ‘Believe in Me and in My messenger.’ They said, ‘We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].'”

However, the Quran contradicts the Gospels on many points, some of which are:

  1. In the Quran, every man in paradise has 72 virgins waiting for him as wives. Jesus says there will be no marriage in paradise (Matthew 22:30 – “For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven”).
  2. The Quran claims that Mohammed was sent after Christ with another message, the message of the Quran. Jesus says that His gospel will be preached until the end of the world (Matthew 24:14 – “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”).
  3. The Quran says that Jesus is not the Son of God. Jesus says He is (John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”).
  4. The Quran says that the earth is flat, while the Bible speaks of the circle of the earth (Quran 15:19, Quran 43:10, Quran 50:7, Quran 71:19 – WikiIslam on the Quran and a flat Earth).
  5. The Quran says that Mary, the mother of Jesus, is the sister of Aaron, but the Bible says she was born more than 1000 years after Aaron. It appears that Mohammed confused Mary, the sister of Aaron, with Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, a gross mistake that cannot come from God.
  6. The Bible says Adam was created from dust, while the Quran says he was created from a drop of sperm (Quran 36:77, although it is unclear where this sperm came from).
  7. The Bible says Abraham went with his son Isaac to sacrifice him, while the Arabic Quran does not mention the name of the accompanying son, and the French-translated Quran states it was his son Ishmael. This indicates a translator’s insertion that contradicts the deductions from the relevant verses.
  8. The Quran says that God cannot have a child because He has no companion, yet it also says that Mary could have a child, Jesus, without a companion, by the power of God. This implies that God, who can give a woman a child without a companion, cannot Himself have a child without a companion (Quran 6:101). This is inherently absurd.
  1. The apostles, who are fully submissive according to the Quran (Surah 5:111), state that anyone who denies Jesus Christ as the Son of God is the antichrist (1 John 2:22-23; Galatians 1:8), and even if an angel from heaven preaches another gospel, let him be accursed. Jesus Christ himself declares to be the Son of God (John 10:36).
  2. Jesus says that anyone who does not believe in Him is already judged, and that He gives His life for His disciples, that He will die and resurrect. The apostles confirm this. The Quran claims that He neither died nor resurrected (John 3:16-18; John 10:18; Acts 2:32).
  3. The Quran says that God protects His word and that no one can change it (Surah 6:115). Muslims claim that Christians have succeeded in changing the gospel to the point of making the true gospel disappear, which would contradict the Quran again.

The simple conclusion is that if the Quran is true, then it is false because it says it confirms the Torah and the Gospels while contradicting them.

Someone has done work on this issue, read here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11CsibxwfOc.

6. Muslims Claim That the Gospel Is Corrupted to Support Their Theories

They cannot, however, provide proof of the corruption, nor the uncorrupted gospel, proving that this is indeed the true gospel. They have not understood that the plurality of the Gospels allows for cross-confirmation of the testimonies, which is harder to falsify than an isolated word. Worse, they contradict the Quran, for the Quran says:

  • Surah 6:115 – “None can change the words of Allah.”

According to this verse of the Quran, the authentic gospel cannot have disappeared and should still be accessible. However, Muslims cannot provide it, except by taking a false document that does not meet any criteria of biblical authenticity.

7. In the Quran, Mohammed Claims to Be Sent to Humanity, Always in Contradiction with the Quran

  • Surah 14:4 – “And We did not send any messenger except speaking in the language of his people, to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

According to this first verse, Mohammed cannot have been sent to other peoples than the Arabs. For God sends the messenger to a people with the language of said people. It will therefore be strange when people are questioned about the Quran, they resort to the fact that one must learn Arabic. Here is what is still said, against those who claim that one must go to theology school to understand the Quran.

  • Surah 12:2 – “Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an that you might understand.”

“And We certainly know that they say, ‘It is only a human being who teaches him.’ The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, while this [Quran] is [in] a clear Arabic language.”

“Arabic language. * Clear * . َسا َع َرِب ى ن ِبِل ن بيِمُّ) “( verse 195 in surah 26 Poetes / AS-SHUARAA)

“If We had made it a Quran in a language other than Arabic, they would have said: ‘Why have its verses not been explained clearly? What! A non-Arab [Quran] and an Arab [Messenger]?’ Say: ‘For those who believe, it is a guidance and a healing. And as for those who do not believe, there is deafness in their ears, and they are struck with blindness concerning it; they are called from a distant place.'”

“This other verse shows that the Quran was clearly made for the Arabs and not for others.

‘And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Quran, so that you may warn the Mother of Cities (Mecca) and those around it, and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A group will be in Paradise and a group in the Blaze.’

It is He who sent to a people who had not received a Scripture (the Arabs) a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and Wisdom, although they were before in manifest error.”

8. The Quran promises paradise to people who must meet criteria that, in reality, no Muslim fulfills

Quran 43:68-70
68 “O My servants! There is no fear for you today, nor shall you grieve,
69 Those who believed in Our signs and were Muslims,
70 Enter Paradise, you and your spouses, rejoicing.”

The Quran is part of the signs, and here’s what is said about it:
Quran 2:85 – “Yet you kill one another and drive out a party of your own from their homes, supporting one another against them in sin and transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their expulsion was forbidden to you. Do you believe in a part of the Scripture and disbelieve in the rest? So what is the recompense for those who do so among you, except disgrace in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the harshest punishment, and Allah is not unaware of what you do.”

In essence, Muslims do not practice the entire Quran but only part of it. In general, most are not even familiar with the content of the Quran.

Quran 19:93-95
19:93 – “All who are in the heavens and the earth come to the Most Merciful as servants.”
19:94 – “He has enumerated them and counted them a full counting.”
19:95 – “And every one of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection.”

Quran 21:45; 7:8-9; 101:6-11 convey a similar sense of individual evaluation.

Being a Muslim means being submissive to Allah. However, Allah asks to believe in the message of Jesus Christ, which Muslims do not believe in, making them disobedient to Allah. Consequently, the Quran guarantees no salvation to Muslims. This aligns with the initial assertion made by Muhammad.

9. Muslims claim that Muhammad is a descendant of Ishmael but cannot prove it

  1. Muhammad never claimed to be a descendant of Ishmael in the Quran, and Muslims have not proven this lineage.
  2. Nor is it proven that the white Arabs, the people of Muhammad, are children of Ishmael, who was probably black, son of an Egyptian woman and Abraham.
  3. God’s covenant was promised in Genesis with Isaac and not with Ishmael. (Genesis 17:21)

10. Allah of the “Muslims” is not the Eternal God of the Christians and is therefore simply not God

Humans swear by God’s name so that God Himself may punish them if they lie.

  1. The Eternal swears by Himself (Isaiah 45:23, Jeremiah 49:13, Amos 6:8), as He cannot swear by anything greater than Himself (Hebrews 6:13), and says that every tongue will swear by His name. Allah swears by the Twilight, by the planets, by the positions of the stars, by what you see, by the soul that continuously blames itself (Surah 84:16; Surah 81:15; Surah 56:75; Surah 69:38; Surah 75:2);
God, having said in the Bible that every tongue will swear by His name and always swearing by Himself, cannot therefore swear in the Quran by the twilight or by a tormented soul.
Here, Allah seems like an impostor who was afraid to swear in God’s name, to avoid being punished by God according to the third commandment (Exodus 20:7). He swears by what cannot harm Him and cannot even be demanded from Him by the one He swore by.
  2. Allah is never declared Holy in the Quran, whereas the Eternal in the Bible is declared Holy hundreds of times (Leviticus 11:44; Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8).
  3. Allah has no Son, has never begotten, and does not beget. Jesus Christ declares Himself the Son of God, and the Bible speaks of the sons of God (Luke 22:70; Psalm 2:7; Job 1:6; 2 Samuel 7:14).
  4. The Holy Spirit in the Quran is the Angel Gabriel (Surah 16:102).
  5. Allah prays for the believers and for the Prophet, and His angels also pray for the Prophet (Surah 33:43; 33:56). Allah prays to whom??? God prays to whom? Believers must pray for the Prophet in addition to Allah and His angels (33:56).

14. Muhammad seems greater to Muslims than God Himself

Anyone who blasphemes or insults God can be understood. Anyone who blasphemes or insults the Prophet is deserving of death.

15. Muhammad was not announced in the Bible nor by his contemporaries

The great prophets of God were announced in the Bible (Jesus, John, Moses…). Muhammad was announced by no one. He says in the Quran that the Bible announced him.
Muslims claim that he is announced in Deuteronomy, as well as being a Comforter in the Gospels.

However, the text of Deuteronomy, the life of Muhammad, the explanations of Jesus, and the apostles show that none of this concerns Muhammad clearly.

Muhammad as Comforter: John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7, 16:13; Acts 2:3-4; Matthew 10:1; Luke 24:49
John 14:16 – “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever,
17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”
The apostles did not know Muhammad, and he is not eternal, having been dead for some time. Muhammad is visible; he never dwelled with the apostles. Jesus Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, could be said to have the Spirit dwelling with the apostles. Later, they had the Spirit in them, but Muhammad was never in any apostle.

John 14:26 (Louis Segond) – “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Muhammad is not the Holy Spirit, he was not sent in the name of Jesus Christ, and did not remind everything Jesus Christ said.
The Comforter must be sent to the apostles (Muhammad came more than 600 years after them) and is indeed called the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ Himself confirms again here whom He was talking about:
Acts 1:4 – “And being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of Me;”
They waited for the Spirit in Jerusalem and received it on the Day of Pentecost. They never saw Muhammad, who is totally disqualified to be the Comforter.

Is it possible that this prophet is Muhammad?

  1. The apostles, whom the Quran says are submissive, identify Jesus Christ as the prophet referred to after He explained everything concerning Himself in the scriptures and opened their minds to understand them. Therefore, they are not mistaken.
  2. According to the text from Deuteronomy, Muhammad, having confused the mother of Jesus with the sister of Moses, cannot be this prophet. Additionally, he does not come from among the Israelites as the text specifies. The Ishmaelites are referred to as Ishmaelites in the Bible, not as brothers of the Israelites. Furthermore, Muhammad does not resemble Jesus Christ or Moses, who never used their positions for personal gain, whether sexual, economic, or through numerous sins. Jesus Christ indicates that such behavior is characteristic of false prophets.

II Other Reasons

Many people leave Islam upon realizing that there is no guaranteed salvation and that death is central to Islam due to its call for killing. Some leave due to visions, dreams, or signs they seek from God.

III. Testimonies from Former Muslims

Testimony 1

A Muslim who became Christian shares their story:

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMMYo5MNM

An other

Part I: How I encountered the Lord Jesus.

I was born a Muslim, and my Muslim name is Mamma or Mamadou or Mohamed. My parents were practicing Muslims. While in primary school, my parents formally introduced me to Islam. I was enrolled in a Koranic school where I studied the Quran and learned to pray in the Muslim way. I remember my Koranic teacher appreciating my commitment and encouraging me to hold firm to Islam. I learned to read and write in Arabic and to pray in Arabic. We were taught the basic tenets of Islam, the five pillars of Islam:

  1. Testify that Muhammad is God’s prophet
  2. Pray 5 times a day
  3. Fast during the holy month of Ramadan for about 30 days
  4. Give alms to the poor
  5. Make a pilgrimage to Mecca.

My Koranic studies were interrupted when I was admitted to Sacred Heart College Mankon-Bamenda, a boarding mission college run by Marist Brothers, a branch of the Catholic Church. There, I became familiar with the Christian faith. We studied religious studies using the Bible and attended mass services in the college parish.

I found myself in conflicting situations. Christians would claim Christianity was the best religion, while Muslims claimed Islam was the best way and Muhammad was the last prophet. I faced a dilemma and was tempted to think that all paths lead to the same God.

This inner struggle led me to search for God. I began reading various religious books, including the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, Buddhism texts, and even books on occultism, astrology, and philosophy. I explored traditional beliefs and practices, and my parents took me to traditionalists for protection rituals. Gradually, I found myself drifting into religious syncretism while holding on to my Muslim faith.

I explored various beliefs because I felt a calling from God and wanted to know the best way to reach Him. At one point, I was drawn to Buddhism, particularly its teachings on the middle way and vegetarianism, which avoid harming animals and shedding blood. I read books by a Buddhist monk about living a monastic life in Tibet, meditation, and inner peace. I considered becoming a Buddhist, seeking a peaceful life away from modern civilization, aiming for eternal life.

However, a classmate preached the Gospel to me and emphasized that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that no one can go to the Father except through Him. Despite my initial resistance and objections about the sufficiency of Muslim practices, the message of Christ’s unique role and the authority with which it was delivered made a profound impact on me.

After a lot of brainstorming and hesitation, I finally decided to consult with God on the issue of faith, religion, and the way forward.

God, the creator of all things, who created the heavens and the earth, the God who created Muhammad, Buddha, and Jesus Christ, to show me which way to follow. It dawned on me that man is often a victim of circumstances, and depending on one’s upbringing, there is a predisposition to believe in the religion and customs one is raised with and to undermine other belief systems. Man is frequently conditioned by circumstances: if you grow up in a Muslim environment, you tend to believe that Islam is the best. If you grow up in a forest region like the Pygmies, you will worship the forest god. I was convinced in my heart that only the invisible God who created heaven and earth could provide a satisfactory answer.

One fateful night, before falling asleep, I prayed fervently for God to show me a sign. I fell into a deep sleep, and while asleep, I had a vision. In the vision, I clearly saw Anabi Issa (Prophet Jesus) dressed in a white garment. I understood that God had answered my prayers and that Jesus was the only way to God. I did not see any sign related to Islam like the Qibla, the crescent moon, or the star. Nor did I see anyone in a lotus position like Buddha. It was crystal clear to me that I had to follow Jesus and become a Christian.

The following Sunday, my friend invited me to church, and I accompanied him. It was my first time stepping into a Christian assembly. For the first time in my life, I experienced the supernatural power and presence of God. In my mind’s eye, I could see Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, even though there was no cross on the walls of the church building. I was so overwhelmed by the presence of God that when the preacher made an altar call, I could not walk to the altar. It felt as if I was going to lose my balance and fall, which could have been quite embarrassing for me, being my first time in that particular church. Nevertheless, in my heart, I knew that Jesus was the Messiah and the only way to God. I repented of my sins and gave my life to Christ.

Today, I am a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, an Architect by profession, preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I thank God for revealing His Son Jesus, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and the Savior of humanity. To God be the glory. Amen!

II – Why, according to the Bible, a Muslim cannot be saved and why Islam is an antichrist

  1. Islam denies Jesus Christ as the Son of God and claims He is only a prophet.

Sura 6:101: “Creator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a child when He does not have a companion? It is He who has created everything, and He is Knowledgeable.”

What does the Bible say about this?

1 John 2:22-23: “22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”

John 20:31: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.”

John 10:36: “Say ye of Him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

Luke 22:70: “Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And He said unto them, Ye say that I am.”

John 9:35: “Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?”

John 20:31: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name.”

Jesus Himself asks us to believe in Him as the Son of God. 1 John tells us that denying Jesus as the Son of God is antichrist.

John 3:16-18: “16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

It is clear from the Bible that those who deny Jesus as the Son of God are already judged and destined for perdition. Islam, by calling Jesus a prophet and not the Son of God, aligns with this denial.

John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

How can a Christian, who believes what the Bible says in John 3:18 and John 14:6, think that a Muslim is on a path other than perdition?

  1. The Bible does not foresee a prophet coming to replace the Gospel or that men would have another savior or means of salvation.

John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

John 12:32: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto Me.”

Matthew 24:14: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

It is not foreseen that anything else will be preached.

Galatians 1:8: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

Muhammad claimed to have received his message from an angel. However, prophetically, the Bible tells us that any message from an angel that is not the gospel makes that angel accursed (reprobate, cursed…).

Thus, one cannot believe in Jesus, believe what the Bible says, and believe in Muhammad. Muhammad, by denying Jesus as the Son, is automatically a false prophet.

  1. Muslims claim that the Gospel has been falsified to support their theories.

Yet, they cannot provide proof of falsification, nor present an unfalsified Gospel to prove what the true Gospel is. They fail to understand that the plurality of the Gospels allows for cross-confirmation of testimonies, which is harder to falsify than an isolated account. Worse, they contradict the Quran, which says:

Quran 6:115: “The word of thy Lord is completed in truth and justice. There is none that can change His words.”

According to this verse from the Quran, the authentic Gospel cannot have disappeared and should still be accessible. However, Muslims cannot provide it, except by using a false document that does not meet any Biblical authenticity criteria.

4) Muslims Claim That Christ’s Salvation Is Limited to the Israelites and Therefore Reject It for Themselves

They contradict Christ’s words, who said He would draw all men to Himself and save whoever believes in Him (John 3:16), and this verse from Revelation:

Revelation 5:8-9 8 “And when He had taken the book, the four beasts and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”

5) Islam Commands Active Combat Against Christianity, Submitting or Killing Christians, and Confirms Its Nature as Antichrist

Surah 9:4-5 4 “Except for those who have treaty with you and have not been deficient toward you in anything or supported anyone against you, respect toward them is due. Allah loves the righteous. 5 “But when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakat, then let them go on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

Fighting the People of the Book

Surah 9:29 https://coran-seul.com/index.php/verset?sourate=9&verset=29 “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture – until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.”

Polytheists are primarily Christians, due to the Trinity theory or Unitarianism, or because they attribute a Son to God:

https://coran-seul.com/index.php/verset?sourate=3&verset=67

Surah 3:67 3:67 “Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim. And he was not of the polytheists.”

https://coran-seul.com/index.php/verset?sourate=2&verset=135

Surah 2:135 2:135 “And they say, ‘Be Jews or Christians, so you will be guided.’ Say, ‘Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not among the polytheists.'”

The People of the Book are Christians:

https://coran-seul.com/index.php/verset?sourate=4&verset=171

Surah 4:171 4:171 “O People of the Scripture (Christians), do not commit excess in your religion or say about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command] from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers. And do not say, ‘Three’; desist – it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.”

Surah 5:51 “O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are allies of one another. And whoever among you takes them as allies is indeed one of them. Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”

6) The Allah of Muslims Is Not the Eternal God of Christians

  1. The Eternal swears by Himself because He can swear by no greater (Hebrews 6:13), whereas Allah swears by the Twilight, the planets, the positions of the stars, what you see, and the soul that blames itself (Surah 84:16; Surah 81:15; Surah 56:75; Surah 69:38; Surah 75:2). How can God swear by twilight? By a tormented soul?
  2. Allah is never declared Holy in the Quran, whereas the Eternal in the Bible is declared Holy hundreds of times (Leviticus 11:44; Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8).
  3. Allah has no Son, has never begotten, nor begets. Jesus Christ declares Himself the Son of God, and the Bible speaks of the sons of God (Luke 22:70; Psalm 2:7; Job 1:6; 2 Samuel 7:14).
  4. The Holy Spirit of Muslims is the Angel Gabriel (Surah 16:102).
  5. Allah prays upon the believers and the Prophet. His angels also pray upon the Prophet (Surah 33:43; 33:56). Who does Allah pray to??? Believers must pray for the Prophet in addition to Allah and His angels (Surah 33:56).
  6. The earth is flat according to the Quran: : https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Le_Coran_et_la_Terre_plate This would be a revelation made by Allah to Muhammad.

7) The Jesus of Islam Is Not the Jesus of Christianity

a. Jesus always calls God His Father. Allah has no Son, and no Muslim calls Allah their Father. Jesus was never a Muslim! And the Eternal, the God of Jesus Christ, is not Allah (among the 99 names of Allah in the Quran, there is no Eternal).

b. The birth of Isa in the Quran is not the same as the birth of Jesus in the Bible.

c. The mother of Isa in the Quran is described as the sister of Aaron. However, the sister of Aaron is Mary, the sister of Moses, not Mary, the mother of Jesus.

d. The translation of the name Jesus into Arabic is not Isa. Why does Islam not adopt this translation?

Why Every Muslim Should First Be a Christian and Undergo Christian Water Baptism

Christianity requires a belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The justification for why He is called the Son of God is given in the Quran (Surah 3:59, Surah 4:171 where Jesus Christ is called the Word of God and a spirit from Him) and in the Bible for a similar reason to that in the Quran (Luke 1:35). It is not about being a son in the sense of a result of mating. Jesus is the only one in the Quran who does not have a father mentioned, apart from Adam.

Surah 4:171 (Jesus is called the Messiah and the Word of God!): “People of the Book, do not go to extremes in your religion, and do not say anything about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was only a Messenger of Allah, His word which He directed to Mary, and a soul [created at a command] from Him.”

Surah 3:59 (Jesus is declared to come from God!): “Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created him from dust; then He said to him, ‘Be,’ and he was.”

Luke 1:35: “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

John 20:31: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

Authentic Christians are recognized in the Quran as being on the right path!

Surah 5:66: “If only they had upheld the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have been overwhelmed with provisions from above and from beneath their feet. Among them are people who are moderate, but many of them—evil is what they do.”

Surah 2:62: “Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad]—those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness—will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.”

The Quran acknowledges the superiority of this authentic Christianity.

Surah 3:55: “[Mention] when Allah said, ‘O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.'”

Note here that Jesus Christ died, was then raised to God, making Him alive. The verb “tawafa” used describes a violent death. A second interpretation is death to pay a great debt or to achieve a goal.

The Quran calls for belief in the Torah (part of the Old Testament) and the Gospel and in Jesus.

Surah 5:46-47: “And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.”

Surah 5:111: “And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, ‘Believe in Me and in My messenger [Jesus].’ They said, ‘We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].'”

Jesus Christ is Honored on Earth and in Heaven, and is one of those near to God, because He is the Word of God:

Surah 3:45: “[And mention] when the angels said, ‘O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary—distinguished in this world and the Hereafter and among those brought near [to Allah].'”

The Quran teaches that to be saved, one must be pious, have more good deeds than bad deeds, and be submissive to God (Surah 5:48; Surah 101:3-11; Surah 43:68-72,74-75). It is on the Day of Judgment that each will know, after passing through hell, as the Quran says that every man will pass through hell (Surah 19:71-72). Even Muhammad himself does not know if he will be saved, nor do those who follow him (Surah 46:9; Sahih Al Bukhari 6467).

The Christian message is that God, in His love, forgives those who repent and accept Jesus Christ. Then, Jesus Christ frees from sin those who receive Him, giving them the ability to leave bad deeds and live a life of good deeds, that is, to be submissive to God. He enables them to receive the Spirit of God, and accompanies them daily in their life of sanctification. In summary, the Quran says that to be saved one must have more good deeds than bad and be submissive to God, without helping the believer to achieve this (Surah 72:21). Jesus Christ says He Himself comes to give the strength to leave bad deeds, to achieve perfect submission, while purifying you of your sins for which you have repented, so as to reach salvation with certainty

(Mark 16:15-16; Revelation 5:8-9; Acts 10:24-44; John 8:34-36; Isaiah 49:6; Isaiah 53:3-12; 1 John 4:14; Romans 1:16; Luke 7:30; Luke 2:30-32; Isaiah 56:8; Acts 4:11; 1 Timothy 2:5; Acts 28:28; John 1:29; John 10:11-18; John 15:13; Hebrews 13:20; Romans 6:11; Revelation 2:7; Matthew 16:21).

Thus, while the Muslim acts without being sure of achieving salvation because they have not been freed from sin, and even being sure of passing through hell, the authentic Christian has the certainty of being savedand not passing through hell.

The Authentic Muslim Must Believe in the Christian Message and Be Baptized with Christian Baptism

Surah 5:46-47, as provided above, says that there is guidance and light in the Gospel and the Torah. Surah 5:111 says to believe in God and in Jesus Christ. Now, here is what Jesus Christ says (John 14:6): “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” And again, Mark 16:16: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” He commands making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe what He has taught (Matthew 28:19-20). He presents Himself as the Son of God calling God His Father (John 20:17), reminding that He existed well before His coming to earth (John 6:62) and that God has handed all things into His hands (Matthew 11:27; John 3:35), and has given Him the power to grant eternal life (John 17:2). The Quran confirms that Jesus died and was raised and that those who believe in Him are superior, that He is great on earth and in the heavens (Surah 3:55, Surah 3:45), that He is without sin (Surah 19:19), is in heaven (Quran 4:158), and will return to judge mankind (Quran 4:159; Muslim No. 5223).

Therefore, the Muslim who believes in the Quran, according to the command of the Quran, must believe in Jesus Christ and His message. Now, the message of Jesus Christ is that He is the Son of God, came from the Father to free from sin (John 8:34-36), and offered Himself as a sacrifice for the atonement of sins (Isaiah 53:3-12). He says that He grants eternal life to those who believe in Him, are baptized, and keep His word, and that there is no other way (Mark 16:15-16; John 14:6). The Muslim who does not believe this is rebellious to the Quran, for the Quran has asked him to believe in the message of Jesus. He refuses the eternal life that Jesus Christ guarantees him, to take a path whose outcome he is unsure of, his prophet himself not having the assurance of salvation (Surah 46:9). He refuses to believe in the Quran which confirms the superiority of the Christian and the salvation of authentic Christians (Surah 3:55, Surah 5:66). Note that the Quran has never forbidden Muslims to undergo Christian baptism, which would contradict believing in its message.

The Bible says that these things were written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, to have eternal life (John 20:31). The salvation brought by Jesus Christ is for all creation: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

“Then We are the best to know those who deserve most to be burned.
19:71 – There is none among you who shall not pass through [Hell]: For it is an inevitable decree from your Lord.
19:72 – Then We will deliver those who were righteous, and We will leave the unjust kneeling there.”

Christianity does not require belief in the Trinity; it is a concept developed centuries after Christ. A Muslim who rejects baptism, believing it to be an acceptance of the Trinity, is mistaken. They are free to continue believing that there is no god but God and to believe what Jesus Christ said. Prayers to Mary and the saints, and statues, do not belong to Christianity. The Christianity often opposed and rejected by Muslims in the Quran is not Biblical Christianity. However, in their opposition, they have forgotten the true message of Christianity, which indeed concerns them. Every Muslim should enter into this form of Christianity to even claim to be a Muslim. Otherwise, they do not respect the order of the Quran given as coming from God, to believe in the messenger Jesus Christ, and in this sense, they become rebellious and not submissive to God, i.e., not Muslims. To be truly Muslim, i.e., submissive to God, one must accept the one who gives the ability to be submissive: Jesus Christ. Claiming to be a Muslim while remaining a slave to sin, i.e., not submissive to God, does not lead to the salvation that the Quran promises to the submissive. How can someone define a Muslim as “one who submits to God” and then proclaim that they are a Muslim because they profess Islamic faith, while not being submissive to God? Some become “Muslims” by swearing submission to God. Then, they do not live out this submission, thereby becoming perjurers before God. One should not claim that the gospel has been falsified without being able to provide the original, while contradicting the Quran which says that God protects His word, of which the gospel is a part (Quran 6:34; Quran 5:46-47).
