The Christian and the Law of Moses

How should we understand Romans 10:4-11? Does it mean that Christians have nothing to do with the Law of Moses? Here, we recall the passage and then, through a series of explanations, we clarify what it means. Indeed, while the sacrificial laws have been abolished, we must still consider many of the other laws as a set of good practices that we cannot simply ignore. Very, very important!

Romans 10:4-11
⁴ For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.
⁵ For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
⁶ But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
⁷Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
⁸ But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
⁹ That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
¹⁰ For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
¹¹ For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Isaiah 48:17-19
¹⁷ Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
¹⁸ O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:
¹⁹ Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.

Romans 7:12
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
